PRSSA Bateman Competition 2016

I competed in the PRSSA National Bateman Competition for my senior capstone course at TCU. My teammates and I researched, planned, implemented and evaluated our campaign. The client for the 2016 competition was Student Veterans of America. Our campaign helped raise awareness of students veterans in the TCU and Fort Worth communities along with educating student veterans about their benefits and how to effectively use them.

Over 70 schools nationwide participated in the competition. We received an honorable mention for our work. Click here to read the final report.

Values Driven: DICK’s Sporting Goods and the Future of Corporate Social Advocacy

My teammates and I submitted a case study to the Arthur Page Society Case Study competition in 2019. Our case study focused on DICK’s Sporting Goods’ decision to pull assault rifles from its stores after the Parkland Shooting. I wrote the following sections: Overview, Company Overview and DICK’s Sporting Goods and Sports Matter. Click here to read the case study.

Research and Recommendations for American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Our client for Research, Data and Insights was St. Jude’s fundraising arm (American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities) in Chicagoland. The organization was struggling with a new theme for an event along with a strategy to disseminate information about the event to its target audience.

My team and I worked together to compile a report and recommendations for the organization by compiling primary and secondary resources. I contributed mostly to secondary research and applying it in our recommendations. Click here to read the project.
